EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

The Executive Leadership team is led by General Manager - Bill Stretch, Assistant General Manager of Operations - Adam Claes, and Assistant General Manager of Administration - September Singh.

ACCOUNTING

District accounting efforts are lead by Controller - DeAnn Hailey. She and her team are responsible for the financial stability of the District and handle day-to-day financial operations, assessment questions, water delivery rights, investments, and ensuring funds for bonds.

WATER

The District's Water Department is overseen by Watermaster - Jim Irwin, who is in charge of 30 Water System Operators and their supervisors. Our WSOs are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the waterways during the irrigation season.

ENGINEERING

Our Engineering staff is lead by Chief Engineer - Laurence Kimura. The team comprehensively consists of Engineers, Engineering Technicians, GIS Specialists, and Administrative Assistants. The Engineering staff handles all capital improvement projects, permits, plans, maps, and right-of-way issues.

CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance and Construction activities are managed and overseen by our Superintendent of Construction and Maintenance - Mike Prestridge. This team of dedicated staff services the banks, canal easements, weirs, basins, gates, pipelines, and trash/rodent removal for the District. Our O&M crews keep the canals in excellent shape to allow uninterrupted water distribution during the irrigation season.

MISSION

The Fresno Irrigation District’s mission is to PROTECT and MANAGE the surface and groundwater resources of the District in order to meet the present and future water needs of the people and lands within the District.
