Due to State and Federal mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fresno Irrigation District has closed its office to the public and is holding all public meetings via teleconference. These board of equalization public meetings may be held via teleconference. Updates on the public meetings will be provided on the FID website at . Participants should check the FID website weekly and immediately prior to the Board of Equalization Meeting for updates on participation in the meeting.
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Fresno Irrigation District has assessed all lands within the District and has prepared an assessment book, all as provided by applicable law. The assessment book has been received by the Secretary of the District, who hereby provides notice that the District’s Board of Directors, acting as a Board of Equalization, will meet via teleconference beginning on the 1st day of June, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. Pacific Time for the purpose of (i) reviewing the assessment book, (ii) hearing and determining objections to the valuation, acreage, or any other matter pertaining to the assessments, and (iii) equalizing assessments. The Board of Directors, acting as a Board of Equalization, shall continue in session from time to time as necessary but not to exceed ten days exclusive of Sundays. The assessment book will remain with the Secretary at the District Office at 2907 South Maple Avenue, Fresno, California. The assessment book will remain available for the inspection of all persons interested. Please contact the office if interested.
