Annual meetings to take place in Clovis, Kerman and Easton

The Fresno Irrigation District will be hosting three public outreach meetings for District landowners in the coming weeks. They will be held at the following locations and times:


• Clovis – Tuesday, April 18, 6 p.m., Clovis Veterans Memorial Building – Auditorium, 808 4th Street, Clovis

• Kerman – Thursday, April 20, 8:30 a.m., Kerman Community Center, 15101 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman

• Easton – Wednesday, April 26, 8:30 a.m., C.P.D.E.S. Hall, 172 W. Jefferson Ave., Fresno


Doors at each of the meetings will open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Coffee and pastries will be served in Easton and Kerman, but no food or drinks will be allowed at the Clovis location. RSVPs are not required.


FID landowners will be provided updates on the current water supply conditions; the 2023 irrigation season; the North Kings Groundwater Sustainability Agency (NKGSA) and its efforts to comply with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA); and information on FID’s Proposition 218 election being held this spring.
