Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Fresno Irrigation District has classified and placed relative values on all lands within the District for the purpose of equitably apportioning charges for services rendered by the District’s Book of Charges and Assessments. Relative values are determined by the nature and extent of services rendered by the District, and are used in fixing charges. The Board of Directors, acting as a Board of Equalization, will meet at the office of the District at 2907 South Maple Avenue, Fresno, California beginning on the 2nd day of June, 2008, at the hour of 5:00 P.M. for the purpose of reviewing said classifications and equalizing said relative values or the fixing of said charges or any other matter pertaining thereto which may come before it. Said Book of Charges and Assessments will remain in the office of the Secretary Treasurer at the above address for the inspection of all persons interested.

In accordance with Water Code Sections 20202-20203, and Government Code Section 6066, notice is hereby given that the FRESNO IRRIGATION DISTRICT will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance authorizing an adjustment to the compensation for the members of its Board of Directors. The public hearing will be conducted on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 5:00 pm in the Board Room of the Fresno Irrigation District’s Main Office, 2907 South Maple Avenue, Fresno, CA 93725. The public is invited to observe, participate, and provide comments.
